A beginner’s guide to web development

So, you are a beginner in web development and you want to know where to start then this post is for you. you either know about HTML, CSS and Javascript or you heard about them. well, these are first things you should learn.

HTML/CSS :

Hypertext Markup Language(HTLM) With Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)  is the standard markup language for creating a static web pages and web applications.

Web browsers receive HTML docume

nts from a web server or from local storage and render the documents into multimedia web pages. HTML describes the structure of a web page semantically and originally included cues for the appearance of the document.

HTML is used as a basic structure of a web page like a human bone structure it. while CSS user to provide styling on HTML structure

HTML elements are the building blocks of HTML pages. With HTML constructs, images and other objects such as interactive forms may be embedded into the web page. HTML provides a means to create structured documents by denoting structural semantics for text such as headings, paragraphs, lists, links, quotes and other items.

Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) is a style sheet language used for describing the presentation of a document written in a markup language like HTML.

CSS is designed to enable the separation of presentation and content, including layout, colors, and fonts. This separation can improve content accessibility, provide more flexibility and control in the specification of presentation characteristics, enable multiple web pages to share formatting by specifying the relevant CSS in a separate .css file, and reduce complexity and repetition in the structural content.

Javascript :

JavaScript is a programming language commonly used in web development. It was originally developed by Netscape as a means to add dynamic and interactive elements to websites. While JavaScript is influenced by Java, the syntax is more similar to C and is based on ECMAScript, a scripting language developed by Sun Microsystems. javascript is currently mostly used language in the world due to its flexibility and compatibility

JavaScript is a client-side scripting language, which means the source code is processed by the client’s web browser rather than on the web server. This means JavaScript functions can run after a webpage has loaded without communicating with the server. For example, a JavaScript function may check a web form before it is submitted to make sure all the required fields have been filled out. The JavaScript code can produce an error message before any information is actually transmitted to the server.

Like server-side scripting languages, such as PHP and ASP, JavaScript code can be inserted anywhere within the HTML of a webpage. However, only the output of the server-side code is displayed in the HTML, while JavaScript code remains fully visible in the source of the webpage.
